As a resident of India, you will be allowed to lodge a complaint and make Aadhaar related enquires online and also check complaint status. Here are the steps you must follow to lodge Aadhaar complaints.
1. To file Aadhaar related complaints, you must first visit the official website of UIDAI.
2. You then click on "File a Complaint" under the "Contact and Support" option.
3. Once you click on "File a Complaint" option, you will be redirected to a new page, where you will be asked to provide personal information like - Name, Address, Contact Details and Enrolment Number. You must then enter your pin code and select the place. You then select the complaint type and category. You can also write your remarks in the space provided and it must not exceed 150 characters. You then enter the security code and make a submission.
You can also file Aadhaar related complaints through the post. You can even request Aadhaar corrections, make inquiries and give suggestions through the post. You have to attach documents and send the post to the following address:

You can also file Aadhaar complaint via phone by dialing a toll-free number of the UIDAI. 1947 is the UIDAI's toll-free number. It can be used for both lodging complaints and making enquiries.
