I booked a bus ticket on 11,OCT 2016 (Bokking ID-1LTRGWX17L1LW900, PNR-DT8ns4l3he) through Mobikwik for journey from Chennai to Nagercoil and the journey date is 12,OCT 2016 and bus departure time is 7PM. On 12th October around 3PM i got call from the bus operator stating that, due to strike in Kerala they preponed the departure time to 5PM. At that time i am in train enroute to chennai from my home town and the train will reach chennai at 6PM. I informed the same to the bus operator and he told he can't help and asked me to cancel the ticket. So i called Mobikwik helpline and informed the situation to them, they told that i have to contact the bus operator myself and ask him to cancel the ticket and i done the same. The bus operator agreed on phone to cancel the ticket. After that i called Mobikwik helpline again and informed that the bus operator agreed for cancellation but i have no written proof, for that the customer care person told that i can believe the bus operator and rest of things Mobikwik will take care and he also informed that the issue is already escalated to the concerned department. A ticket is raised (ticket no: 5403987) in this concern by Mobikwik. After a long drama now they are telling that bus departure time is tentative and can be changed and therefore there will be no refund.. As per my knowledge generally anywhere in the world departure time will be postponed but never preponed . If it is preponed intimation will be given well in time otherwise refund will be given. Further , after this I booked another ticket with another bus operator through redbus.in and continued my journey to Nagercoil, surprisingly the later bus operator doesn’t have any problem with strike in Kerala. So i understood that now my money is with them and they are speaking very conveniently. To sum it up Mobikwik cheated me. Kindly help to get justice to me.
