I purchased an item on 16 May..As it was of low quality I raised a claim under eBay guarantee policy...The claim (ID-2007628) was closed on 29th May without any proper resolution. I paid Rs. 649 for the product (With coupon- Rs 395 and credit card- Rs 254) Got the money I paid with credit i.e Rs 254 that too after repeatedly making calls to the customer care and waiting on the call for one hour every time but the coupon amount was not yet given. Regarding coupon I called the customer care multiple times...Every time they tell the same thing that it is escalated on priority and we will provide the coupon in 7 days..but it is already more than 50 days now still they are giving same 7 days deadline..These are some of the escalation numbers I have: SR 1-77275076744- June 14; SR 1-78726988942- June 29; SR 1-79302494576- today...Without any update and without finding the reason why wasn't it addressed, customer care people simply raise new escalation and disconnect the call. And every time I call them I have to wait on the call for more than 40 mins for someone to answer it..eBay has the Worst customer service among all the e-commerce sites...Recently last week I purchased one more item of Rs 3100, the seller turned out to be fake but the customer care people are reluctant to cancel my order and refund the amount...They are asking me to wait till July 12th and then raise a claim and again wait for 20 days and after that in next 7 days they will be issuing the refund..This is the condition with eBay...They are just keeping customers money with them and circulating it for interest and refunding to customers after 45 days..Other e-commerce sites like Amazon and Flipkart refund money immediately on the same day or next day after they pick the item back, but sites like eBay are just cheating and gaining profits in the name of online shopping by circulating customers money for nearly 50 days and if we don't ask about the claim status I guess they would never refund the amount..
